NAACP Member Candidates
The Hanover NAACP is proud to have two of our members running for office in the 55th district (Rachel Levy) and the 97th district (Stan Scott). These districts cover Hanover, some parts of King William, Caroline, & New Kent Counties.
Our NAACP invited the incumbents from these districts (Buddy Fowler and Scott Wyatt) to a candidate forum with Rachel Levy and Stan Scott. They both declined. We have invited them to attend to speak on multiple occasions and they have never accepted an invitation to share their views with us.
On September 26th we will hear from Rachel Levy and Stan Scott via Zoom at 5pm. A link to that event will be sent later if you would like to attend.
Please share our early vote videos and graphics on your social media pages. This is an “off year” election but we must vote as if this was a Presidential election.
